Witchford Parish Council confirms that its precept - the tax paid by residents for the Parish Council's activities - has only risen by 0.3% this year. The figure quoted in the Council Tax demands recently sent out by ECDC is the result of a change in central government subsidy and the way this is calculated. Witchford Parish Council will only be receiving the amount it requested - that is only £100 more than in 2012-13 - and will NOT be receiving a 7%+ increase. East Cambridgeshire District Council has sent out this letter to try to explain the situation

Parish Council Meetings: Unless stated otherwise on the agenda, all Parish Council meetings commence at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of the month at St. Andrew’s Hall and are open to the public. Items for the agenda must be with the Clerk no later than 5.00pm on the Tuesday of the week before the meeting.
